Anakonda is the wild one of the group; she is very close to nature and has an instinctual distrust of technology. She speaks in broken sentences with a husky voice, sort of like Tarzan if he grew up in Jamaica and had permanent laryngitis...
Ana's real name is Akitoalar'Kitosomate (the apostrophe is pronounced with a toungue click). This information was only given after she was sure Jack could be trusted (perhaps a tribal tradition?). Somewhat confused, Jack decided she needed a new handle; her real one was too long and hard to pronounce. Inspired by her ability to communicate with animals (specifically reptiles) and her somewhat reptilian features, he came up with 'Anakonda'. She adopted the name proudly.
Anakonda is very fond of Jack but, not knowing how to deal with her feelings, often yells at him in frustration. She feels that he is too reckless with his life and is the first one to berate him for the dangerous stunts he pulls. Ana feels that she must compete for Jack's attention- against both Princess Rosalyn and Jack's beloved machines (perhaps another reason she doesn't like mechanical devices). Anakonda and Rosalyn constantly bicker over their jealousies but have occasionally overcome their differences to work together- temporarily, that is.
As far as I can tell, the tawny dragon-like creature that she considers to be one of her brothers is called Babu. If anyone disagrees with the name or spelling please let me know.
